Policies and Procedures

New Clients- First Appointment. Your first consultation will be approximately 1 hour. During this time we will suggest the appropriate lab tests you should order to address your specific health concerns.

Fee Schedule

-Payment will be due at time of consultation or have the card on file.

-Methods of payment are: Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

-Payment will be for either the 6-month program at $200/month; the 6-month program Pre-Pay at $1000; or the month-month option of $250/month.

-These fees do not include the cost for labs and supplements.

Appointments

-Follow-up consults may be scheduled in 15, 30 or 60-minute blocks of time.

-We encourage you book your appointment 2 weeks in advance.

-Immediate appointments may be scheduled 24 hours in advanced.

-Using the message feature in the client portal will give you quicker responses.

-As a courtesy to you, you will receive an appointment reminder via email.

Lab Tests

-We receive your lab results 2-4 weeks after you mail your sample to the lab.

-We will evaluate the results. After evaluation, you will be contacted to schedule a follow-up appointment.

Cancellations

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment you must notify our office a minimum of 24 hours before your scheduled time or you will be charged $50 for that appointment.

There are no refunds.

For Telehealth Appointments

I use a HIPAA Secure video chat service for our appointments, Zoom. Failure to secure the web browser will result in a forfeiture of the appointment fee.

Insurance Requests

We are not in a position to offer SuperBills or collaborate with insurance companies for reimbursement of any services. The receipt you receive when purchasing items with My Health Detective LLC is the only document offered to substantiate services. Labs may be partially covered by insurance through Genova Diagnostics depending on your insurance company.

The information we provide should not be taken to be, and is not a substitute for, personal medical advice and instruction. You should always consult your doctor before beginning any changes to your current program (i.e. exercise, supplements, dietary, or any other homeopathic programs.

If you rely on, buy or use a product or therapy, you do so at your own risk. Each person is different, and the way someone reacts to a product or therapy may be significantly different from another. We cannot predict how you may react to any particular product or therapy.

If you have a medical emergency, you must contact your primary care physician or dial 911!
